This documentary records the Centenary of Martinborough – now world famous for its fine wines, but then a sleepy town on the road to nowhere – the first vines were just being planted.

Based on recollections of some of the then 1300 citizens, this film shows that small towns everywhere are always subject to the whim of the world – until Easter 1982 when the centre of the universe became Martinborough itself.
